Overview

This safari will take you to the 5 National parks in the Northern Safari circuit, the first one will be Arusha National park, where you will be going both on a half-day walking safari and a half-day game drive. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger for the walk, who will guide you through the national park and also see the 7 lakes and the Ngurduto crater. After Arusha National Park you will go to Tarangire National Park is often referred to as the “home of elephants”, and where you will have an excellent chance of spotting elephants in large herds gathering around the Tarangire River, other animals to be spotted include leopards, lions, giraffes, and tree-climbing pythons! you will also get to go to maybe one of the most famous national parks in the world, the Serengeti National Park, and While in the Serengeti you can choose to add a balloon safari under the extra section on the booking bar on the right. Serengeti is the largest and most famous National Park in Tanzania (Selous Game reserve is much larger, but not a National Park), known worldwide for its endless plains, wildebeest migration (The Zebra migrate along with the wildebeest), herds of lions and other predators like hyenas, cheetahs, and leopards. If you reach the Grumeti River you might see some of the giant Crocodiles that can be found in the river, as well as hippos, giraffes, antelopes, and gazelles. The second last Park will be the Ngorongoro Crater, where you start the day as you have a game drive on the way towards the park and arrive at the crater rim of the Ngorongoro Crater with an excellent view of the crater floor.  On the day of the game drive, there is a very high chance of spotting the big 5: lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and leopard. You will end the safari with a game drive in the Lake Manyara National Park which is famous for its amazing tree-climbing lions, Hippos, flamingoes, green scenery, varied bird life, hippos, and baboons.

Day 1:

Depart Arusha at 09:00 (09:00 am) for a 1-hour drive to Arusha National Park. Here you will participate in a half-day walking safari and a half-day game drive. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger for the walk, who will guide you through the forest up to the waterfall and point to view the black and white colobus monkeys. During the game drive, you will see the 7 Lakes of Momella and the Ngurduto Crater. At sunset, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2:

Leave the lodge and drive about 2 hours to Tarangire National Park. This park is often referred to as the “home of elephants”, you have a great chance to spot elephants in large groups gathering around the Tarangire River. Other animals that can be spotted include leopards, lions, giraffes and even tree-climbing pythons!

Day 3:

Early breakfast, game drive en route to Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is the largest and most famous park in Tanzania, known worldwide for its endless plains, wildebeest migration, herds of lions and other predators like hyenas, cheetahs and leopards. Crocodiles can be found in the Grumeti River, as well as hippos, giraffes, antelopes, and gazelles. Dinner and overnight in the heart of Serengeti!

Day 4:

Tour the northern part of Serengeti. A full day of game drive until sunset, then dinner and overnight in the Lobo area. (or Seronera) While in the Serengeti you can choose to add a balloon safari under the extra section on the booking bar on the right.

Day 5:

In the morning you have another game drive in Serengeti National Park before you drive to the Ngorongoro Crater rim with a game drive en-route (optional stopover at Olduvai) dinner and overnight with an excellent view of the crater floor!

Day 6:

Descend into Ngorongoro crater for 6 hours. On the game drive, there is a very high possibility of spotting the big 5 in one day: lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and leopard. Lunch will take place at the picnic site on the crater floor. (here you might experience close encounters with the wildlife as the local birds, and monkeys might try to get at your food or belongings, so hold on to them 😊) In the afternoon, drive back to the great rift valley and overnight near Lake Manyara.

Day 7:

Today you will have a full day in Lake Manyara National Park with an early sunrise game drive and later a picnic lunch. Famous for its green scenery, varied bird life, the amazing tree-climbing lions, hippos, and baboons. In the afternoon you drive back to Arusha for your return home or your continuous holiday.

Safari in Tanzania

Altamente recomendable! Muy profesionales y atentos en cada detalle Pasé unos días espectaculares, una experiencia magnífica. Pude realizar safari de 7 días , durmiendo en campamento muy cómodos, con carpas amplias y cómodas. La comida muy rica, abundante y la gente muy predispuesta a ayudarte y hacer que pases unas excelentes vacaciones. Al finalizar el safari realicé la subida en trekking al Kilimanjaro, me encantó! Muy buena experiencia.
